Built on a rural Yallingup block with views to the south over a winter creek this home was designed to take full advantage of the view whilst still allowing north sun in through fullheight glazing and highlight windows. Inspiration was taken from rural architecture from New Zealand in creating a “barn” style yet modern home.
Timber framed construction on a concrete slab helped reduce engineering cost on and allowed Colorbond Trimdek to be used for the external wall cladding
